Morning Health Coaching Session 6

Day Group Health Coaching

This 6-week workshop series focuses on making lifestyle changes that promote health and wellness. Each participants’ health goals and starting points will be different, so group members will create a plan that is unique to them.

Who this is for:  Those who have struggled to make lifestyle changes, stick to healthier routines or create new habits around wellbeing and want guidance and support.

What we’re aiming for:  To live in a way that promotes health, longevity, vitality and wellbeing.

How it will work:

Through a variety of activities, you’ll assess where you are now, where you want to go and how you will get there. As you begin to make changes in your life, your coach (me!) and group members are there to support you.

Some of the topics we explore:

  • Vision and Values: We’ll begin by exploring what you really want and don’t want in your life so you can align whatever changes you make to your values and vision. All changes are in service of a more fulfilling, health-filled, meaningful and beautiful life of your choosing.

  • Resources: We all need support when it comes to making changes that are challenging.  We’ll spend time figuring out what supports you need and how to ask for them. Some supports, like character strengths, come from within. You’ll identify your top strengths (perhaps it’s courage, organization, honesty, curiosity or something else) so you can call on them to help you reach your goals. You’ll also identify external supports like family, friends or community members--and of course the members of your coaching group.

  • Blocks: What stands in your way of doing the things you want to do? We’ll begin to excavate internal blocks like unhelpful beliefs, mindsets, and difficult emotions. I’ll guide you through exercises that help you make pivotal shifts in these areas. If the blocks are external, like family members, time constraints or logistics, we’ll help you brainstorm ways around those as well.

  • Slow and small:  Very small, incremental changes add up to huge life shifts over time. You’ll have help breaking your plan into manageable, doable actions.

  • Self-compassion:  No doubt you’ll come up against your inner critic. Especially if you promised yourself you would take a walk in the morning only to find yourself in bed pressing the snooze button instead.  Setbacks are bound to happen, and when they do self-compassion is necessary to help us get back on track.

  • Accountability: A study done by The American Society of Training and Development found that people who commit to someone else that they will meet a goal are 65 percent more likely to meet it. This increases to 95 percent when they build in ongoing meetings to check in on their progress. This is good news for our group!  We’ve got each other’s back.

Thursdays January 12th - February 16th from 8:30 - 9:45 am with Liz Rees

Health Coaching group visits are submitted to insurance and may not be covered by insurance.
We will work with you to verify insurance prior to enrollment.

Evening Health Coaching Session 5
