What acupuncture can help with
Acupuncture treatments will be tailored to your unique needs and goals.
We’ll create an individualized treatment plan focused on your well being – in mind, body, and spirit. Acupuncture uses qi (the word for “life energy” in Traditional Chinese Medicine) to activate the body's natural healing response. Qi flows through pathways in the body called meridians. Acupuncture works by stimulating certain points, or "acupoints," along these meridians to regulate qi and restore the body’s balance.
Many of our patients feel improvements in their physical and emotional health after just a few sessions.
Here’s some of the more common health challenges we’ve provided care for:
Allergies
Arthritis
Infertility
Depression
High blood pressure
Inflammation
Asthma
Chronic pain
Stress and anxiety
Headaches and migraines
Fibromyalgia
Insomnia
Sports injuries
Digestive issues

Schedule sessions with Elizabeth Baer or Cory Jecmen (based on availability) by requesting an appointment here.
What to expect from your sessions
A 90 minute, full-body acupuncture and wellness consultation.
This begins with a detailed review of your health history and a physical examination. We will work together to assess the underlying conditions leading to your current situation and create a personalized strategy to improve your health. Following the initial intake, you will receive a full body treatment with acupuncture needles.
Follow up treatments.
Follow-up acupuncture sessions are usually scheduled weekly or bi-weekly for several weeks, depending on your situation. These sessions always begin with a review of the previous treatment, your health goals/progress, and mindfulness work if needed. Non-needle treatment options are always available, including cupping, moxabustion, acupressure or electrostim as determined by your practitioner.
