Dr. Venuka Wick, MD

Raised in Sri Lanka, I grew up immersed in a healthcare tradition that embraced natural remedies like teas, salves, and other home treatments. While these approaches often proved effective, we also sought the guidance of our trusted family physician, who not only provided conventional care but also suggested herbal remedies. This upbringing ignited my passion for integrative medicine.

Undertaking a fellowship in integrative medicine was a transformative experience for me. It has allowed me to find joy in empowering patients to take control of their own health. With every patient encounter, I strive to create an environment that fosters meaningful partnerships, recognizing the importance of collaboration in their wellness journey.

Compassionate holistic care is at the heart of my practice, as I am dedicated to addressing not only the physical ailments but also the emotional and mental well-being of my patients. Iā€™m also passionate about teaching other healthcare providers about the principles and practices of integrative medicine, aiming to spread this approach and enhance the quality of care in our community.
