I have been fascinated by the human body for as long as I can recall. At the prime age of 10, I began checking out library books to learn how every part of the body worked. But there was always one body part that no book could ever fully explain to me: the brain. I was always left wondering exactly how it worked and where mental illness came from. These questions imprinted on me and sent me on a path that ultimately led to studying neuroscience and discovering the gut-brain connection.

Along this path I discovered firsthand how changing what you eat can transform your health. Soon I realized the innate connectivity of the body and the importance of building wellness from within. It didn’t take long for me to realize that I wanted to teach others how to use food as medicine.

Today, I enjoy working with patients to find the foods and lifestyle that support their body’s innate ability to thrive. I love showing them how to put together the puzzle pieces in their health story and how to make changes that are sustainable. In my spare time, I enjoy teaching ballet and hip hop, doing yoga, hiking, and making new recipes.
