Dr. Andrew Wong, MD and Elizabeth Baer, L.Ac. co-founded CIH in 2015 with a bold vision to create the kind of care they wished existed in the world.

After years in traditional medical settings, they saw the limitations of a system focused more on symptoms than people.

So they built a space where prevention is prioritized, root causes are explored, and healing is seen as a collaborative journey.

Many of our team members share that same story.

They left behind conventional models to find a more fulfilling way to practice—one that puts connection, curiosity, and true wellness at the center.
